Part of the training program included a group activity. Members of each group were assigned by a novel mechanism that involved the random distribution of playing cards to everyone in the audience. For example all those that held the Queen of Hearts made up a single group. A spokesperson for each group communicated the solution to a posed question. Lyles’ job was to move a microphone to each group spokesperson.
